Imagine How?

How do you Imagine? Most of it happens naturally, without even thinking about it, because Imagination powers our brain, so most of it is subconscious and often involuntary. When you're reading a book, watching a movie or when you get excited -- your Imagination goes, faster than the speed of light. We want to continue to let this happen as much as possible. Bask in it. Let your Imagination flow.

We also need to have focused times of Imagination. That's when you help it grow the most, exploring its infinite limits.

Lots of books have been written about this and they're all great in their own way, but I'm not sure you need a whole book to tell you how to Imagine your future. I like to keep everything as simple as possible.

Mine is similar to meditation. I like to lay in my backyard, in the grass underneath our Mighty Ash tree. I keep my eyes open at first, taken in the sights and sounds of our World. Then I close my eyes and begin to Imagine my future. The key for me has been to Imagine in great detail. To be very specific.

If you see a new house in the future, what color is it? What street? How many rooms? If you see a new job, what is a full day in your new job look like? Where is your office and what's in it? Who do you work with and why? If you see kids, what are their names? What do they like to eat? What is their favorite thing to do?

Be as specific as possible! I usually lay out in my grass for about 10 minutes every day, but you can do it for as long as you want, wherever you want. Standing, sitting, floating?

I would encourage you to do it every day. It will begin to make your Imagination more real and tangible.

How we Imagine our World in the present and the future, will create strong feelings.

Imagine and make what you see happy and beautiful!

Every Day Imagination

You should set time aside every day to Imagine.

It is as important as learning and work and relationships. Imagination informs these things and everything else in your life and the more you Imagine, the more confident you will become in every facet of your being.

If people tell you that Imagination is for hobbies and daydreaming and kids, in the most polite way possible, tell them to fuck off.

Get out your pencils! Get out your guitar! Get out of the daily slog and create!

Your Imagination and the Universe will thank you!!!

In the Beginning...

Since the beginning of humankind, zealous, god-fearing, rich men have conquered lands and exploited indigenous people. We steal their natural resources, their wealth and their women. We scour the Earth, eyes black with greed, mouths dripping with lust as we gobble up gold, oil, agriculture, minerals. We grab anything we can see and call dibs. Then we try and make them in our image. Teach them our language. Convert them to our religion. Fuck their women so the kids start to look more like us. We've been chasing things.

Let us be the first generation to look back on our history and say;

'We fucked up. We've been chasing the wrong shit for 3,000 years!'

Let's forgive ourselves and each other and set all these things aside.

Now, we pursue the real treasure in this World. People. We'll absorb their art, their culture and their wisdom. We will leave them be, to be exactly who they are and they will do the same for us.

If we allow people to be themselves, they can follow their dreams and Imagination, the two most powerful things in the Universe. And in following those dreams and Imagination, our World will become a better place fast, a place of confidence and light.

Because if we don't throw away the old plan soon, if we keep on this trajectory of greed and excess, we will become a blip, a footnote, a failed experiment in evolution.

Love all People. Let them be themselves. Let you be you.

Imagine that.
